Dip, ambassador for the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games
Ambassador of the first Olympic Games held in Africa, Dip brings the Youth Games all the way to Grand Yoff, the neighbourhood where he grew up.

Dakar is hosting the Youth Olympic Games, a first for the African continent. Dip Doundou Guiss is one of its official ambassadors.
On 20 September 2026, he carried the flame in Grand Yoff, through the streets where he grew up. A powerful moment for an artist who has spent fifteen years speaking to young people who rise early to build their future.
On 21 October, Olympics.com published a portrait of him: “the rapper who became the voice of Senegalese youth”.
During the Games, Dip is also on stage:
- 31 October: YOG Dakar 2026 Official Ceremony
- 4 November: YOG concert, Place du Souvenir, Dakar
- 7 November: YOG concert, Grand Yoff
- 8 November: YOG concert, Keur Massar
The YOG put sport and young people at the centre. That has always been Dip’s audience.
